You might have heard that X-force—a well-known keygen group—offers a working crack for ArtCAM 2018. But before you download anything, you need to understand the serious risks and why no crack truly "works" safely or permanently.
A: Yes—Carveco acquired ArtCAM’s codebase after Autodesk discontinued it. Carveco Maker starts at $15/month and is the closest legal successor. Final Verdict: Avoid X-Force ArtCAM 2018 Key Searching for “X-force ArtCAM 2018 Key WORK” is a dead end. Even if you find a file that bypasses activation today, the risks—ransomware, legal fees, unstable software—far outweigh any short-term benefit. This article explains what ArtCAM is, why people seek cracks, the real dangers of using X-force keygens, and most importantly—your legal, functional alternatives to access ArtCAM features today. ArtCAM was a leading CAD/CAM software solution for converting 2D raster images (like JPEGs, PNGs, or BMPs) into 3D relief models for CNC machining. Artists and manufacturers used ArtCAM to create wooden carvings, molds, jewelry, and signs. The 2018 version was the last major release before Autodesk discontinued the product on February 7, 2018.

I'll probably maintain my fork still, but I'll probably get some queues from this, thanks!
Btw I'm not really doing anything for QuakeForge, just forking their initial code. I have my own roadmap for this, which might be more Hexen II focused.

Does this generate the bunch of QC code necessary to map frames? :D

Not Really

Alright, just in time for the Blender 2.82 export is done. Big thanks to @Khreator for giving a great insight into exporting issues.
List of features:
+ Export support
+ Support for importing/exporting multiple skins
+ Better scaling adjustments, eyeposition follows scale factor
This is still considered an alpha release. But it should be good enough.

Enable MDD export addon. Export your simulation to MDD. Remove the sim from the object. Import MDD back into your object. You now have all of your sim frames as separate shape keys, ready to export to .mdl

Disregard that. It works fine without any of that extra voodoo, just export whatever straight to .mdl

Then let's think about practical use cases.
First think that comes to my mind are death animations, sagging bodies.
Explosion debrie might also work out.
I guess anything fluidic is out of question, like a tiling wave simulation anim.
What else comes to mind?
