"Ogginoggen" is a derogatory Danish nonsense word Ida uses to describe Kristoffer , a boy she finds both ridiculous and unexpectedly attractive.

Stephania Potalivo , who played Ida, won a Canadian award for her performance at age 10.

Because it addresses themes of nascent sexuality—including kissing and falling in love—the film has been used in some Danish school sex education programs. Production and Recognition Director/Writer: Jesper W. Nielsen and Anker Li.
